Dolphin Beach in Nanoose Bay

Dolphin Beach in Nanoose Bay is where I would like to direct your attention. This is a good dive site for the newly certified, as well as advanced level divers. One thing that is vital about this site is to only attempt diving it on a minimum of a 10ft tide or higher, and preferably on a flood or rising tide.

You can consult a tide site such as www.dairiki.org for accurate information in this regard.

An approximate swim of 8 minutes due North, will get you out to a very large trench in 60fsw, where some interesting terrain and creatures await the newly certified "open water diver".

A little further and you will drop over a wall to well over 100fsw for the advanced diver, where you will find sponges, wolf eels, giant ling cod, and even puget sound crabs.

Below is a link to my web page called "Dolphin Beach" which includes a link to a site description, as well as a PDF downloadable map.

Thank you for your support and interest.

Sincerely yours, Don.

P.S. If you are planning to dive on the island you can try to contact me through a contact page on my website, and I will do my best to join you. Cheers and safe diving!
